HCOS Learning Groups – Regional Administrator – Lower Mainland

Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a K-12 Provincial Online Learning School, providing fully accredited, Christian education to students in BC. As one of Western Canada’s largest online schools, we connect teachers with families and students to provide guidance and support via personalized, online, and face-to-face options.

We have an opening for an LG Regional Administrator – Lower Mainland  to join our Learning Groups in HCOS.  This is a remote position at 40 hours per week. The primary purpose of this position is to provide oversight, care and support to those involved in Lower Mainland Region, as well as to work together with the Learning Groups team as a whole. This role involves working as a member of the Learning Groups Administrative Team and working closely with School Leadership, Regional teams as needed, Learning Groups Office support, Coordinators, Teachers, and Service Providers.

As the HCOS LG Regional Administrator – Lower Mainland your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of the Lower Mainland region
  • Lead, guide and train and encourage team with training sessions, tools and resources
  • Develop and maintain current training material and tools as needed
  • Participate in weekly LG meetings, monthly Leadership meetings, plus school functions
  • Manage the budget and programming needs, conducting check-ins and sweeps
  • Develop school’s missions and outreach program
  • Assist with hiring, training, onboarding and evaluations of teachers in your region
  • Attend monthly school leadership meetings and collaborate with Lower Mainland Regional Team
  • Community Connections+ Coordinator in Lower Mainland which includes: prep, planning, startup, intake, onsite operations and communications with stakeholders

We are looking for someone with the following Qualifications & Skills:

  • A deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • BC Certified Teacher
  • Flexible attitude towards innovation and change
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Relational and customer service oriented
  • Experience with budgets and financials
  • Technologically proficient
  • Previous experience in HCOS Learning Groups, coordinating group learning activities, sports teams, an asset
  • Residence in area of oversight preferred
